Frequently asked questions.

What should I wear?

Formal attire. (For men, think suit and tie; For women, think mid to floor-length dress or that fancy jumpsuit you’ve been wanting to wear!)

November in California can be chilly (if you run cold like the native Californian bride!) so we recommend you bring a light jacket or something to cover your shoulders.

Is there parking at the Skirball Center?

Yes! Free, covered parking is available in the North Lot of the Skirball Center. Enter through the main entrance and drive up to the last parking lot.

Will there be transportation to and from the ceremony?

Yes! A shuttle bus will be picking guests up from the Kimpton Palomar Hotel-Beverly Hills. At the end of the night the shuttle bus will be dropping guests back at the Kimpton. Exact times TBD.

Is the wedding outdoors?

Yes and no! The ceremony and cocktail hour will both be outdoors. The dinner/reception will be indoors.

Things to Do

EAT & DRINK

Yunomi Handroll 9300 Culver Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232

Sit at the bar and enjoy the handroll set. (Kelly recommends getting the rolls spicy)

Pizzeria Sei 8781 W Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90035

Our favorite pizza in Los Angeles (partly because it is right across the street from our apartment, but also because it is outstanding)

Jameson’s Pub 2702 Main St, Santa Monica, CA 90405

Carly & Kelly’s first time hanging out together was here (Along with Maid of Honor Ally Lutfi)! Enjoy a beer, or if you really want to be like the brides, have a few of their signature peanut butter shots.

Fatty Mart 12210 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90066

This Asian grocery store/restaurant is a fun place to walk around and the Taiwanese Breakfast Roll is a must try! Plus if it happens to be a Sunday you can check out the Mar Vista Farmers Market. If you are in the area later in the day, check out a favorite date night spot of ours Little Fatty for some drinks.

ENJOY

Ocean Park 2701 Barnard Way, Santa Monica, CA 90405

Nestled between Santa Monica and Venice, our favorite beach to take a walk and watch the sunrise (or sunset, if Carly is in picking the time).

Century City Mall 10250 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90067

Kelly’s favorite mall to get some shopping done and then grab dinner at Din Tai Fung or Eataly.

The Grove 189 The Grove Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90036

Another favorite spot not just for shopping, although there is plenty of that to be found here. Check out the Farmer’s Market, catch a movie or hop on the trolley to get the full experience.
